Why Astrojyotishi not Astrojyotish ?
The idea of a website on astrojyotish consultancy came in our mind in the year 1999 when we first started offering our guidance online under the name lifeguidecenter. This name was often mistaken to be associated with medical science. As a result we decided to drop this name and set a name that resembled Indian Jyotish and Western Astro. So the name astrojyotish came into our mind.
In India, an Astrologer is known as a "jyotishi" and in the western World the word 'astro' is well understood. But the problem with the name "astrojyotish" was that it was Neither lucky as per Numerology nor was it explaining the proper meaning of our area of service.
So we came up with a name "AstroJyotishi" which means an astrologer & a consultant and that is what we are. We are not only guiding our clients through astro but complete jyotish measures that include sciences like Numerology, Palmistry, Graphology, Vaastu & Rudraksha and Gemstones.
Had we used the name 'AstroJyotish' only or any other name we would have failed to express our identity at its best. Today the name AstroJyotishi is a brand in itself with more than 1,80,000 hits per month.
I have been asked this question why our website has this name and why is it AstroJyotishi. Today i hope the answer is clearly given.
